Hospice of Marion County, Inc.
October 2009 – Present, Senior Chaplain
December 1994 – October 2009, Chaplain
 Encourage and mentor our qualified team of 5 chaplains for Hospice of Marion County - the local not-for-profit, Joint Commission accredited hospice.
 Provide spiritual services to patients, families and caregivers as well as staff support to the East team, Admissions team, and Sylvia’s and Estelle’s Houses.
 Participate in weekly IDT meetings and the Clinical and Volunteer Orientations monthly.
 Collaborate with the Bereavement Team, to plan and facilitate memorial services for the families which are held 3 times a year.
 Provide quarterly orientation for Guardian Ad Litem; annual orientation for students in Criminal Justice at College of Central Florida.
 I have always enjoyed relating to others and have used my listening skills in my career to encourage youth, disabled adults and the terminally ill and their families.

South Georgia Residential Services
July 1992 – October 1994, Director
 Opened 4 homes in SE Georgia for disabled adults - opened 4 temporary homes, hired staff, welcomed the new residents and transitioned to 4 beautiful new homes.

FL Sheriffs Youth Ranches
1983 – 1992, Chaplain / Director of Music
 Had the opportunity to be the first chaplain to live at the FL Sheriffs Boys Ranch and to serve 108 youth as well as many cottage parents, staff and alumni.
 Developed a music exploration program, conducted weekly chapel services and taught in the on campus Learning Center.
